Backyard Wishlist

I have so much space in my backyard I want to use it all constantly so heres a list of things that I would love in my backyard!

-chicken coop (fresh eggs taste amazing)
-picnic bench (for tea parties)
-vegetable garden (already have the seeds)
-an apple tree or 2 (already have seedlings growing in cups)
-hammock (for book reading and relaxing)
-trampoline (obvious reasons!)
-ride on lawnmower (my landlord says hes going to stop mowing our lawn for us and we only have a push mower for the front D: it would actually take 2 hours or more im sure)

spreading paint like love

I have so many ideas that I need to make happen! but lack of time/supplies/sleep causes my creative tidal wave to be reduced to an insignificant trickle. Since living in my new house the only thing close to a beautiful creation is my obsession with planting sunflower seeds EVERYWHERE! So far only a few have sprouted but my hopes of them growing are as high as the sunflowers should be (colossal).
I am also planning on sanding down my coffee table and my kitchen table and inviting some friends over for a group painting/drinking session.

newss

Okay so I still have yet to setup internet at my new place so I am blogging via my dads house.
Its really sad being inside in my old empty room remembering all the things that went down here. I mean I love my new house and everything Im excited to fix it up and make it into my own superhome, but I have a bad habit of holding onto the past. I cant wait to upload all the pictures that ive taken of my new place including pictures from the halloween themed party I had!

NEW HOUSE!

This is just a crappy printscreen from google maps I will take plenty more pictures of the house and the backyard (in all of its heavenly glory) once I am fully settled, which might take all month at the rate im going...
Ive been so swamped with moving into my new house and starting my new job I have no time to just relax and enjoy life.
I am also still sick with a bad cough and taking antibiotics, but my ear infection is finally gone which is a start!
ive been sick for over a week now I guess its because I havent really had much rest with everything thats going on.

busy bee

Well Ive been a very busy bee lately, it seems everything is moving in fast forward (all in a positive direction might I add) but it is still greatly overwhelming.

I just got back from Vancouver with my dad and all of this has happened in the past 2 days.

Me, my boyfriend Corbin and my brother Cole have all found a house together its a 4 bedroom and very large im (almost) positive that we got it. The only problem is packing, I have SO MUCH STUFF that I need to get rid of, even looking at my bedroom gives me a headache.

I got a new job which I start next monday, its another cleaning job and its at night so I can still work at the traveloge. the only person I will be working with is Corbin so im pretty excited about that! (he better be a hard worker!)

and my phone has recently bit the dust the screen is broken so i dont know when my new (potential) landlord or boss is trying to get ahold of me I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are smart enough to just call Corbin's phone!

here is some of my favorite songs lately ive been really into old girl groups, I downloaded all 10 of the Girls in the garage compilation which is pretty fantastic!

You've got to see your mama every night - Kari Lynn

Egyptian Shumba - The Tammys

Patience and Prudence - tonight you belong to me

Wanda Jackson - funnel of love

Drew this little comic yesterday.
Pretty much how I feel about all the shitty metal shows I've gone to lately.

first burn

So I received my first sunburn of the year today, not to mention the lovely g-string tan line across my back (which is uncontrollably sexy).
Yes, I am in pain but this possible addition towards the risk of skin cancer is a sign. Its a sign of good weather and good comings (but mostly more sunburns and hangovers).
The outdoor rave season is going to start up again soon, also camping, going to the beach, having picnics, tea parties, dropping acid, flying kites (the list goes on and on).

tarot cards

Sometimes when I am too overwhelmed with my days, which can unfortunately happen quite often, I like to read my tarot and see which direction it tells me to go.
I know what you’re thinking it sounds pretty foolish, like shaking a magic 8 ball to see if your crush feels the same way (*cough*) but a majority of the time the cards I choose are relevant to my situation and sometimes even helpful.
Some of my more ‘spiritual’ friends tell me that I ‘shouldn’t let other people touch my cards’ or that I ‘should bless them when I first buy a new deck’ but unfortunately I am an atheist thus, these rules need not apply.
I bought my deck at a used bookstore and I knew it was love at first sight right then and there inside Mum’s Book Bin, cartoon hearts bursting all over the damn place.
My deck is called “The Motherpeace Tarot Deck” and unlike most tarot cards they are shaped round opposed to the mighty rectangle and the majority of them have images of woman or feminity, (such as on the lovers card has an image of two woman making love and also an image of a man and a woman making love) this is because it is also known as a feminist deck.
A few of my male friends are skeptical that the hoodoo tarot magic will not work on them because it is a feminist deck and they aren’t woman, therefore resulting in a faulty reading.
Usually afterwards will they realize that the gender of the cards is irrelevant and that they have been mistaken.
Tarot cards can be very amusing if you don’t take them too seriously, I know I enjoy mine.

Vain Valentine Vampires Vapidly Vaporize Vagisil

Well, its Valentine's Day and I'm hungover.
I baked my little valentine an awfully ghetto angel food cake.
either I have a slight retardation when it comes to decorating baked goods or I’ve subconsciously realized that I shouldn’t bother putting effort into decorating something when I know damn well in a couple of hours my beautiful work of art will be digesting in someone’s bowels.
Nevertheless, my cake tasted ‘divine’ (my mom likes to use words like trippy, fab or divine to describe almost anything... this is her rubbing off on me).

Anyhow, heres my VDAY jam.
This song is all that IS Valentines! Freddie Mercury's voice causes my heart to melt into chocolate flavored confectionery sold in a reduced to clear bin on February 15th.
